This free event is for any high school and undergraduate student with an interest in the veterinary medical profession. The AAVMC’s recruiting event is a unique opportunity for prospective veterinary students to meet with admissions representatives from the veterinary medical colleges in the US and abroad. Information sessions are held to provide great information about various careers in veterinary medicine as well as helpful information on applying to veterinary school. Senator Mark Warner invites high school students and their parents to Academy Day 2018.
Attendees will be provided a comprehensive overview of the United States service academies and their admission process. In addition, students will be able to meet with officials from all five academies as well as representatives from ROTC programs, Randolph Macon Academy, Virginia Tech, and Virginia Military Institute. Representatives from Virginia Congressional offices will be available to answer questions regarding the application procedures for congressional nominations.

Capital One’s Future Leaders Forum for Young Women is coming up soon! Join us for our 14th annual event, Brilliant Beyond Measure.
Here’s what to expect: attendees will explore their brilliance, invest in their personal development, hear from inspiring speakers, learn from Capital One mentors, and connect with other awesome young women.

Open to young women currently in grades 9-12 who take an active interest in their future, demonstrate leadership potential through academics, sports, or volunteer activities, and care about making a difference. Space is limited, register by March 5.

It is recruitment time for Partnership for the Future! The applications will be available online only. We will accept applications from high achieving high school freshmen (9th grade) students with at least a 3.0 GPA and a challenging academic background including, but not limited to participation in dual enrollment, advanced classes, honor roll, scholar roll, AP, and/or IB classes. PFF applications will go live on Monday, February 19, 2018. Applications will also be accessible online on our website at www.partnershipforthefuture.org.
